De var roligt under tiden allt fungerade. Men när mottagaren helt plötsligt slutade att fungera då var de roliga slut
De började med att stationen hel slocknade. Då blev de reparation med byte av display och VFO encoder..
Efter 6 månader fick jag riggen efter rep. Nu fungerade allt i 1 vecka då dog mottagaren . Då var tanken den att köra sändaren i 7610 tillsammans med yttre mottagare en DRAKE R-4C. Detta gick fint i 1 vecka då slutade också sändaren att fungera. Inget hände när man tryckte på strömbrytaren.
Nu var de bara att hämta en DRAKE T-4XB, och helt skippa 7610. Detta tyder på att dagens teknik aldrig kommer att kunna kallas SURPLUS. De blir skrot långt förre denna tid punkt. De känns hemskt att skrota en rig som kostade 38.000Kr för 7 år sedan. Som jag uppfattar detta verkar de vara så att efter ett vist antal drift timmar då upphör funktionen.
I have had the receivergo dead a couple of times now, I power cycled the radio and receive cane back. I too have had the issue of the receivergoing dead.

After 6 months I got the rig after repairs. Now everything worked for 1 week then the receiver died. Then the idea was to run the transmitter in 7610 together with an external receiver, a DRAKE R-4C. This went fine for 1 week then the transmitter also stopped working. Nothing happened when you pressed the power switch.
Now they just had to get a DRAKE T-4XB, and skip the 7610 completely. This indicates that today's technology will never be able to be called SURPLUS. They will be scrap long before this point. They feel terrible scrapping a rig that cost 38,000Kr 7 years ago. As I understand it, it seems that after a certain number of operating hours the function ceases.
